The Commercial-ness of Christmas

Tuesday, December 28, 2010
So basically this festive season I realized that it's not CHRISTMAS anymore it is merely.... SALES/ PRESENTS/ GIFT - MAS . and yet the whole religious context of Christmas has been disregarded in yet another one of society's ploys to eradicate Moral Being and Morality within the World..... yes we all are aware we live in a Mono-Atheistic society.. plagued with Agnostics, Atheists, Freemasons, Satanists, Wiccan and the list continues BUT does this mean that "they" have the right to take a CHRISTIAN HOLIDAY and turn it into the years most outrageous, ridiculous attempt for stores to get sales and for presents to be given... What does THIS have to do with the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth????

Please pardon my lingo as i divulge that as non-religious or demi-religious as I may be.... i do have Faith in MY RELIGION... i couldn't give a FUCK who wants to comment and lay dispute with me but reallly how can you not agree with me

  • CHRISTMAS BEGINS WITH CHRIST

it's like Hannu without the Kah ---> without a Menorah (although i am 1/4 Jewish i do celebrate Channukah)
it's like celebrating Ramadan and eating Pork

it's just p o i n t l e s s

&& my view remains the same if your not Christian it makes no sense in celebrating a Christian Holiday.  The same has been done with Easter ... what does the death of Jesus Christ have to do with Chocolate Eggs?
How are they related...
someone please to tell me!

Either you Worship Jesus at Christmas or you Worship Santa Clause....
because at the end of the day that's what it really comes down to....

On the other hand the Gift-giving spirit of Christmas is good... but why only on the 25th of December?

why not treat everyday as if it were "Christmas" and make someone elses life filled with Fruits of the Spirit?

because THAT IS WHAT BEING A CHRISTIAN IS ABOUT!
not just giving on a specific day of the year but treating less fortunate people as if they were your own family whenever you have the opportunity...

with that being said I Hope You Had/Have a HAPPY HOLIDAY!!!

BOXING DAY SALESSS ROOOCK

NEXT POST IS DEDICATED TO FASHION & LOVERS!!
