A Very Royal Wedding: Prince William + Catherine Middleton

Friday, April 29, 2011
April 29th, 2011 is now a day in History marking the very British Royal affair of the wedding of Catherine Elizabeth Middleton & Prince William Windsor (2nd in line to the Throne)
I'm here to write a quick blogpost of their story, their wedding and to wish them luck in their future. Feel Bloody well free to comment and I hope you have a cup of tea to drink as you read my very British tale.

2001 St Andrews

Kate Middleton catches Prince William's eye at St Andrews University, where both study art history. The pair are spotted out hunting together and have rooms close to each other in halls, facilitating manoeuvres of the "Can I help you with that Caravaggio essay, Kate?" variety. In the second semester, the future king pays £200 to watch Middleton modelling a black lace dress over a black bra and bikini bottoms in a charity catwalk show. Shortly afterwards, the pair become flatmates.

2004 Klosters

Following two years of speculation, the pair confirm their relationship by being pictured skiing together. On the same holiday, William allegedly says: "I don't want to get married until I'm at least 28 or maybe 30."

2005 Windsor

Middleton gets a taster of the famous royal hospitality when she is not invited to the wedding of the Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles.

2006 Sandhurst

William begins his Army training at Sandhurst.
Confirming her position as very significant other, Middleton turns up to watch him receive his RAF wings from his father as he graduated as an officer.

2007 Wembley

The couple are seen at the Cheltenham festival but split up soon after. Not long though before they are spotted dancing and snogging at a party. Photographed at the Concert for Diana at Wembley, the couple insist they are 'just good friends'. But by the year's end, they are reunited once more.

2008 Windsor

Middleton attends the Order of the Garter service at Windsor Castle to watch her beau. It is her first appearance at a formal and official royal public occasion. Middleton breaks from her traditional look to attend a charity roller disco she co-organised.

2010 Anglesey

The couple move in together into a cottage in north Wales, close to Prince William's RAF Valley in Anglesey. In October, William proposes while the couple are on holiday in Kenya.

Nine years after their first meeting — Prince William and Kate Middleton finally marry.

In September 2001 the couple met at the University of St Andrews where they shared a passion for art history.

A year later they moved to a student house with two other friends.

By December 2003, the pair were believed to be a couple after she split from her previous boyfriend.
A few months later in 2004 they were photographed skiing together in Klosters, Switzerland.

Now for the Wedding!

I love love LOVED Samantha Cameron's wedding outfit she looked amazing even though she wasn't wearing a hat as was required even so... i shall document the wedding in pictures.

The Beckhams were also in attendance along with Elton John and his partner to name a few. Unfortunately the Prince's Aunt "Fergie" was not in attendance due to royal family issues however the "most beloved" Camila wife of Prince Charles was there to no delight of the public

Kate Middleton waves as she arrives with her father Michael Middleton and her sister Philippa Middleton to the West Door of Westminster Abbey in London for her wedding to Britain’s Prince William, April 29, 2011. Middleton wore a dress designed by Sarah Burton @ Alexander McQueen. Burton, who had worked with the late McQueen for 16 years. The hand-cut English lace and French Chantilly gown made with ivory and white satin gazar. The dress’ dramatic train measures about eight feet. Middleton also wore a "borrowed" tiara (owned by the Queen) and short veil that covered her face. Middleton worked closely with Burton in formulating the design of her dress which remained secret until the minute she stepped out to go to the ceremony.

Kate's dress the highlight of the ceremony!

The ceremony was professional, Royal and beautiful as the Prince whispered "you look beautiful" to Kate when she arrived at the alter. Hopefuls and Audience members could not help but shed a few tears at the thought of the late Princess Diana's eldest son finally getting married and if only she were alive to see the grande event.
The couple then proceeded to the Buckingham Palace: home of the royals unto the balcony where they shared their first official husband & wife kiss as part of the British Monarchy traditions.

Kate and William now have the official title of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge as assigned by the Queen herself and due to her new Royal status Kate is now to be referred to as Catherine according to British royalty rules.

ALONG WITH THE WORLD I'D LIKE TO WISH THEM A HAPPY MARRIAGE &&
CONGRATULATIONS!!
And finally last November Wills popped the question during a holiday in Kenya.

Stunning details my friend. Gratitude for sharing these photos here. Anyways, we have also been doing wedding planning and would like to book the most beautiful hillside wedding Venues in NYC. Just started making a list for best locations and hoping to find a good one soon in our budget.
